This is instructor lead, so there will be an explanation at the beginning for everyone. You are participating the whole time, when you are not directing cows you are part of the circle to keep them contained. You can see pictures of this on our website. $35 per person to play, you must sign up in advance because the Play Day fills up fast!
Ranch Play Day is a fun way to get your horse used to cows if he has not seen them before. Each team takes a set of calves through a couple of obstacles and then returns them to the “center ring” of the arena. Each person usually gets “3 goes” to move cows around. You do not have to have a team, nor do you have to have any experience, we will show you how. We usually take up to 30 entries and these fill up fast! Advance Entry is a must! This is very fun, you can come by yourself or with a friend, but your friend may or may not be on your team. It’s totally random who is on your team. Experienced Riders are welcome!
